Flame picture

Flames too low?
- line pressure does not drop away as main burner or other appliances in the building light, causing flames to shorten. 
- Burner pressure is too low. 

Flames too high?
- Check the line pressure (B)
- Check the burner pressure (A)

Flames not evenly distributed or out on a part of the burners
- Check if logs or pebbles are correctly placed.
- Check if any burner holes are blocked. Remove any dust.
- Check that the vermiculite is evenly distributed on the burner(s).

Flames too blue/yellow or causing soot?
- Check that the air intake guide is fitted correctly.
- Check that the restriction slider is fitted correctly.

Flames are suffocating or lacking of air
If you see dancing flames on the burner seeking air, check that there is no blockade, obstruction or any form of leakage in the flue gas exhaust/ air inlet.


Flame picture restless 
An indication of too much draught. Check:
- The adjustmenets of the appliance damber and air inlet guides
- The vertical flue length allowed (<12m)
- Window glass not mounted gas tight
